Introduction
​Dr. Sood has done his PhD from IIT Roorkee. He has guided 14 students for PhD. He has more than 100 publications to his credit. He has served as Director cum Associate Dean in GNDU regional campus Gurdaspur. His area of interest are cloud computing, fog computing, IoT etc. At present he is serving as Head and Professor Department of computer science and informatics. I would like to thank Dr. Sandeep K. Sood for his  lecture on "Importance of Password Security in COVID era". His lecture was thought-provoking as he discussed in detail about the vulnerability of password security. He also suggested measures be taken to safeguard our password and using it wisely. I would like to hear more from him. I request the organizers to please invite Dr. Sood in their upcoming FDP.
